Weatherford's is an outdoor, snow sports, and four-season apparel store established in 1986 to provide the people of the Gulf Coast with quality clothing, outerwear, and gear year-round for whatever adventure you may have in mind.
Our knowledge and personal experience enables us to offer our customers good service, as well as an enjoyable shopping experience in a laid-back and relaxed atmosphere. There are no pressures to purchase - you are welcome to wander freely, or, if you want, we are happy to offer you one-on-one time and advice on what you might need or what you don't need. For the most part--we have been there and done it--and are glad to share our personal experiences in helping you choose what�s right for you.
We believe that there is no substitute for touching and trying on the product, the opportunity to lie down in a sleeping bag or tent to insure the correct size and fit. While a picture might be worth a thousand words--of uncertainty--having the product in hand makes for sound decisions on important matters. It just makes for better sense.
In searching out our store, you will find our 35-foot indoor rock climbing wall as well as our more advanced 45-foot outdoor wall. Weatherford�s has been teaching and training climbers since 1992. If you�re looking for a nice weekend jaunt, there is excellent rock only 4-5 hours from Pensacola, but many of our climbers venture all over the United States, even to summit El Cap in Yosemite National Park, California. Some of our military clientele end up all around the world, climbing in exotic places! We consider ourselves more of a teaching facility than just your basic rock gym.
The main store is open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. The Climbing Wall is open Monday through Saturday 3 p.m.-9 p.m., and on Sundays 12 noon-6 p.m. We are closed on certain Holidays.
We invite you to browse our Web Site, but we do not sell on-line. It is purely informational with links to other relevant sites. However, if you really enjoy the outdoors, a visit to our store in Pensacola will be a treat. Weatherford's is a freestanding store with easy parking in the front or shaded parking in the rear. It�s a quick-in and a quick-out for convenient shopping.
